Refund Policy
Last Updated: May 2026
At Heaven 0n Earth, we deeply understand that end-of-life journeys are unpredictable and emotionally complex. Our goal is to provide a container of order, peace, and compassionate support. This policy outlines our guidelines regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for our Death Doula services.
1. General Service Policy
Because of the profound, energetic, and time-intensive nature of Death Doula work, all payments for services that have already been rendered are final and non-refundable. When we hold sacred space for a client and their family, that time and spiritual energy cannot be recovered.
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a standard planning, coaching, or reiki session. We recognize that caregiving is demanding, and we strive to be as accommodating as possible. However, chronic cancellations without notice may result in a forfeiture of the session fee.
3. Pre-Paid Packages
For families who have opted for our 12-Session Package ($1,200.00):
- If you or your family decide to discontinue services before all sessions are utilized, you may request a partial refund.
- Refunds will be prorated. The sessions that have already been used will be calculated at our standard hourly rate ($111.00/hour), and the remaining balance from the package price will be refunded to the original payment method.
4. Legacy Projects
Legacy Projects are deeply personalized, custom creations honoring a life lived, billed at $1,111.00 (plus the cost of materials).
- Materials: Because materials are unique to each project, any funds spent on physical materials are non-refundable once purchased.
- Labor & Creation: If a project is canceled before completion, we will evaluate the hours already dedicated to discovery, planning, and creation. You will only be billed for the labor performed up to the point of cancellation, and any remaining balance of the project fee will be refunded.
5. Unforeseen Transitions (Emergencies)
We hold profound grace for the reality of death. If an active transition begins suddenly, or if a loved one passes away before scheduled sessions or projects can be completed, our cancellation notice periods are waived. We will work closely and gently with the family to either pivot our services toward immediate transition support, after-death care, or provide an equitable refund for unused sessions as outlined above.
6. How to Request a Refund
